cbcb0612 (1001.4 days ago) We had no issues with my son`s circumcision. Like the ladies said, vaseline helped to keep the diaper from sticking. It didn`t bother him in the slightest and he had just enough tylenol to get him through.
RobinG (1025.7 days ago) Very easy :) At every change I took gauze and put a gob of vaseline and place it on the circ`d area. Keeps diaper from sticking to him :)
jessberr31 (1026 days ago) I have three boys (& 1 girl) and I had no problems with any of them. Just had to goop on vasoline at every diaper change. I didn`t even know about the gauze thing until I read it here! The only difference is with my new baby boy they numbed his penis with numbing gel first then a local at the time of his circ. I was happy to hear that this is becoming the norm in most hospitals. They didn`t numb at all with my first two. But it was easy as pie as far as aftercare. All were healed within a week or less. Good luck!
staceyh (1026.1 days ago) we had no problems...my son didn`t even cry...his pediatrician numbed the area and did the circ and she wrapped it with a certain gauze that just comes off after a couple days....it was perfect...
StaceyL (1026.2 days ago) We had no issues taking care of the circ. However, we had a nightmare experience where our son was cut in 2 different spots on his penis. Definitely not the norm but horrible to live through.
JustTha5ofUs (1026.2 days ago) for me it was ez i have 2 boys and a girl, the gauze came off the day after we got home, u are not supposed to use soap on it until it heals, and try not to put the diaper extra tight. we also, didnt put him so close on our chest b/c we didnt wanna put pressure, i recommend it for sure though. good luck
