No more concerned than for all the other viruses out there... It`s like.. let`s talk about DEATH.. that should take the peoples mind off the economic depression and basically crap state of the world.. if they`re worried about dying then they won`t have time to see what`s in front of them. Funny how this has happened right after the big 20 gang boss meeting...

I wanted to know what this swine flu was all about...was it worse than the normal flu, was it more contagious..I went to the CDC website for answers. Turns out it`s EXACTLY like the regular `seasonal` flu that we`re exposed to every year. Some people can get bad cases of it, or you can have a mild case and then some with lowered immunity can die from it. AGAIN this is the news community trying to scare us all with something that isn`t even newsworthy :)

Im not worried. There is not a vaccine yet but there are antibiotics. I think that you have a better chance of getting it if you work directly or indirectly with pigs. I read that in one state there were 12 known cases and 11 of those people worked directly with pigs..

I am scared to death. My parent just got back from Mexico 2 weeks ago and my step father jsut got out of ICU because he had a temp of 106 and coldnt move a single part of his body. He wasnt talking right didnt know what he was saying. He spent a week in the hospital in ICU and they just said he had pneumonia. Becasue this break out wasnt talked about while he was in the hospital.He is actually on his way back to the hospital right now to be checked for it. I hope to god he doesnt have it because i was just there at his house on sunday with my baby boy. SCARED to death
