angie2008 (1022.2 days ago) i got paper from my doc when dd was 4 months old and it says to start with one meal and then increase to 3. try some veggies to the meal maybe at dinner than fruit at breakfast. EditDelete
angie2008 (1022.2 days ago) Depends on the baby, if they are eating good then it sounds fine. My lo is almost 6 months and eats just dinner for now, but we just stated solids a few days ago. good luck! EditDelete
daisymae (1022.2 days ago) Some people are rude as usual. Ignore them....lol. I feed my 5 month old cereal twice a day and was told by my doctor that is absolutely fine to feed cereal starting at around 3 and a half to 4 months. You would know if she/he is not ready. Yes, babies don`t HAVE to eat solids to survive and they can live on breastmilk or formula for a year or more...blah blah, blah...lol but if you want to feed them then I say twice a day is good. Luis and Rosalanis Mami (1022.3 days ago) my son is 4 months old on cereal, he has four 6 oz bottles a day and about 1 oz of cereal and an ounce of veggie. each night before his 4th bottle he has his solids, I think I will have him eating solids 2 times a day at 6 months just cuz i know i wasnt supposed to start him on solids until then but he is happy and healthy and its the perfect amount for him, I dont want to give him to much solids until he is older and his system is more developed. I would say 2 times right now is too much. EditDelete
