OMG so there are ladies who agree with me!! i thought i was the only one who thought that 14-16 year old girls OR SHOULD I SAY KIDS, should NOT be allowed to conceive or even be one here! (unless yes they are pregant). they think its all fun and games, news flash! they should conceive a THOUGHT b4 they conceive a baby!!! and i CANNOT believe how some women on here actually SUPPORT them!!!! i dont think they`d like for someone to influence their teenage daughters on getting pregnant so why do they do it to someone else`s kid?!?! theres this one girl who no matter how many ppl go to set her straight and tell her THE TRUTH about having a baby, she blows them off and goes crying to the supportive women about how we`re all bitches for `being mean to her`. wth?! i mean her mom doesnt pay attention to her (obviously cuz shes trying to get pregnant BEHIND her parents back) so who`s to say she wont do the same? i mean she`s 15!! and what if her bf leaves her? she has no job, no money and she lives with her parents! i can guarantee u most 14-16 year olds do! and what do they do? they turn to THEIR mommy and expect them to raise THEIR kid while they still want to party and live a teenage life! (btw if any of u ladies want to talk some sense into the girl i mentioned earlier, her screen name is K.ZIMMERMAN8 and her name is Kristi.) But im so glad someone finally spoke out about this!!

well i had my first son when i was 17, and am 20 now and pregnant with my second. just the other day a woman asked me how old i was and when i told her she went on a lecture on how i should give my son up for adoption and that she is tired of young moms getting pregnant and living off the state. i hate being judged on my choice to have my babies young. im happily married, i own my own home, i have health insurance, and am a damn good mom. so what if im young. but i do understand what u r trying to say. all though i dont think taking the information and advice from them is exactly the answer. giving them access to the information and stories could actually cause them to change there minds.

I didn`t want a baby at 14...I Don`t get why teens do..Do they expect momma or grandma to take care of their babies or something when they go out. I mean accidents happen, but to actually want to get pregnant at 14...WHY!??? I married at 19 b/c I was in love STILL don`t and NEVER regretted it. Had fun for 5 years before we actually had our son. It was good timing to us. We enjoyed being married and having fun and we didn`t want kids to we were ready and a little more stable then when we were at first. I just don`t get it!!!

Seeing as how Ive been a pregnant 14 year old, I can say IMHO, that no 14/15 year olds should be trying to conceive. Therefore should not be getting encouragement on TTC(which Ive seen on here) from adult women. But accidents do happen, and if ur young and coming here for advice and knowledge, then this site can be great. I wish I wouldve had it back then. I had noone to talk to about what was going on.

I like Dans comment about how if they are on here they should come take care of my baby for 1 wk and see what their thoughts are! Most girls that age think that a baby is a cute thing to dress up and give kisses to! Most of the time these girls are trying to replace a love they don`t receive at home! Again if they are already preggers by accident they need support but would i feel comfortable giving it to them? prob not

I say no, Maybe hearing some of our stories would make them think twice about trying to have a baby. I don`t want them getting support to get preggers but praying they get a dose of reality.

I`ve said it before, spending time with my children is a great form of birth control. 14/15 (anytime you`re still in high school) is way too young to be trying to conceive. These kids have they`re whole life ahead of them and to have a baby at that age is just so sad. They need to experience life first before they are responsible for someone elses.

Wow I totally agree with you. If there already pregnant than its good there trying to get info and support, but TTC? No way should you be thinking about prom not pregnancy at 15.

TIGER21 What I was trying to say is yes if they are pregnant that they should be supported but I dont think a 14 15 year old should be supported in TTC. Sorry if it was confusing.

Any 14 yr old trying to get pregnant on purpose is welcome to come spend a week taking care of my angel. Just remember to keep the broom locked up because she uses it to pop the gate off it`s hinges. Oh and she filled the toilet with balls today. And still wakes up every two hours at 11 months....

I don`t really understand what you are asking... Are you saying they shouldn`t be supported? I answered I don`t care (not true) because the question was confusing to me and that was my only option to leave a comment. In my opinion everyone deserves support and hopefully parents are talking to their kids about what could happen before they get pregnant. No one should turn their back on a child especially one who is about to have another child - unfortunately that would be two children lost.

I agree 100%! Of course, like you said if they are already pregnant than it is good that they are on here because of the support, info and whatnot but a 14 year old SHOULD NOT be TRYING to have a baby!!!
