I work for a hotel and there is a lady that set up a baby shower the other day with little stations (tables), one station was the cake station, the snack station, the present station, there were big glass jars with candy and little pink chinease take out boxes where everyone could mix and match their candy for a take home souvinear of the party, and they had a station (this was where the cool idea comes in) where they went to a craft store and bought all these little white cotton bibs (she said she got a dozen for like 5 bucks) and a bunch of fabric paint, and everyone can make a bib for the new baby. I think that was the neatest idea ever!! Bibs will last forever and you can either save them or use them.

Hahaha ok my mom did this one for me. You get 10 different types of chocolate bars, break off a piece put it in a diaper, then in the microwave until it melts. Now have everyone guess what kind it is! It`s funny, some people will go as far as tasting the `Poo`

here`s a few i like and also had done at my shower thanks to my creative friend who threw mine: print out a bingo sheet and tell everyone to write down everything that they can think of that the mommy-to-be would get as a gift (diapers, shoes, pack n play, books, sleep outfits, booties, you get the idea etc) and as the mommy opens up gifts they mark off the ones they had on their sheet. choose at least the 1st 5 to get a prize or something~it keeps them from getting bored to easily by this point!! another game was the string measurement game, another was just as people arrived to the shower, have them write down their name on an envelope for the mommy-to-be to send as a thank you card and sometime during the shower just pick 1 or however many you want to give a prize (it`s helpful for the mommy to know who was there and saves time later before sending thank you`s!) i just went to a shower where the mommy asked for size 3 diapers and whoever`s name was drawn out of a hat would win a $25 gas gift card....hope these help :) enjoy and have fun!!!

I don`t know why I like this game but it`s probably cuz I have a gazillion things in my purse. You do a purse scavenger hunt. You list a bunch of things like a toy, candy, nail clippers, a coupon, a $5 bill, etc. Whoever has the most stuff wins.

We did the guess how many inches the tummy is game...we also did the one where you taste all the baby foods out of the jars and try to guess what flavor it it.

we didnt play games at a shower i went to but we all got to decorate a onsie for the new baby..it was fun to sit around the table and chat and make something fun and unique for the new baby

My friend did Guess the Circumference and everyone had to guess how big around I was. Funny :)
