jessicar (993.5 days ago) My daughter never pinched but how my sister got her boys to stop was by pinching them back.. not hard of course just enough to let them know that it hurts and also teaches them that `do unto others` thing too. soon they learned that if they didnt want it done to them they would have to stop doing it to other people
LKLmama (993.7 days ago) I always wear a nursing necklace.. I think There is a pic of mine in my blog somewhere.. its a jingle ball and Kara LOVES to make it jingle while she nurses.
MelissaJoanne (993.7 days ago) I made a nursing necklace, and put that in her hand if she pinches. She gnaws on it when she`s teething too. She notices if I forget to put in on, and paws at my collarbone where she`s used to finding it. :-p (Oh, and making my own was less than $10, it looks like something I`d actually want to wear, and I chose a stone that my daughter was really drawn to holding + touching.)
gr8scottswife (993.7 days ago) Same as the other people. Give her something to hold while she`s nursing.
SunshineBaby1 (993.7 days ago) My guy is getting a bit crazy, too! He`s 11 months, and I think part of it, is because he`s ready for the sippy! He loves his sippy, but we still nurse in the mornings/evenings. Sometimes I pull my shirt down so he can`t get to my skin! :-) Sometimes I hold his hand... he gets too distracted if there`s something to play with, he`d rather play! Sorry... I`m probably not too helpful!
Lookalike (993.8 days ago) I have a nursing necklace that christinaswar suggested. http://www.mommynecklaces.com/nursingnecklaces.html
This is the one that I ended up buying. I haven`t given birth yet but my husband likes to fiddle around with it, and if it keeps him occupied, it should keep the baby occupied.
courtenay (993.8 days ago) i have never heard of a nursing necklace but now im going to go looking. if i give her a toy she just chucks it on the ground, sometimes im lucky and she just plays with the straps of my bra or shirt but basically when shes nursing she wants to touch me and only me...
Danetteplustwo (993.8 days ago) Same problem here but now she`s almost one. Have you tried a nursing necklace or giving her a lovey to fiddle with while nursing?
armymom (993.8 days ago) ouch! I have a hair puller even though I`m bottle feeding now... he loves pulling my hair and trying to stuff it in his mouth while he`s taking his bottle. lol. It hurts too. Garrett has a favorite blanket and sometimes he`ll rub that on his cheeks instead of my hair... have you tried those nursing bead necklaces or giving her a toy to hold while she`s nursing? Maybe try wearing a zip up jacket while you nurse so theres less exposed skin.
