Lou-Li-Ro (989.6 days ago) I wouldn`t. They get so used to having something sweet to drink whenever they`re thirsty that they won`t take water for you. I`ve always just given my two water, and they drink plenty of it now, never turning their noses up at it. Theyre 13 months and have never had juice. It`s better for their teeth too not to have juice. Get them used to drinking water first, that`s the best bet.
armymom (989.9 days ago) almost 8 months old.. no juice here. I give ice water with meals or when he`s outside playing and it`s hot... but no more than 2-3 oz of water in a day. Juice is completely unnecessary unless it`s used to help alleviate constipation.
cowgirlygirl28 (989.9 days ago) My kids never had juice until 4 years old...then it was just orange juice with breakfast. I feel it is just empty calories with TONS of sugar.
5against1 (990 days ago) NOt til around 12 months or so. There is no need for all the extra sugar.
butterblocksmom (990 days ago) Juice is given rarely, and only if watered down. We gave him juice at around 1 year, and maybe once every two weeks or so...diluted with water 50/50.
RobinG (990 days ago) 12 months ~ Hunter is 19 months only has it maybe once a week. There is no need for it the benefits come from real fruit. Juice is wasted calories and sugar. Even if 100% is still not healthy, my boys all love water which is so much healthier. But I know many who give it. If you do choose to give it 6 months is the soonest. And diluted with lots of water. Water alone its best for hydration :)
myfirstbaby:) (990 days ago) i say as soon as you start solid food start water & juice
