My dr. isn`t worried, so neither am I. She is 6 months old and is 24 iches long (She didn`t grow in length from last appointment) She weighs 16 lbs now. (up 3 lbs since the last visit). I think she may be thhe shorter one. Our other children are tall for their age. :)

My baby is definitely small. He is 14 months, 29 inches, and not even 18 pounds!! Even if I adjust his age to account for prematurity, his weight still falls below the bottom line of the growth charts. I do not think I would worry if he was a better eater...but he does not have much interest in food.

My daughter was always below the weight and height scale until she turned 2. Her pediatrition took one look at my husband and I and said that she may never be chunky or have a lot of baby fat. I told my mother and she said that the doc said that of me when I was born. I had a petite baby and still do.

My baby may be HUGE, but he`s JUST RIGHT in my eyes! Plus, he`s totally proportional, not too fat or too skinny, so he`s PERFECT! :)
