I use the gDiaper system because our septic system wouldn`t handle the extra laundry but still have some cloths for backup. I have a dry pail in the bedroom with baking soda but keep a wet pail in the laundry room. The night before I am set to do the washing I transfer the cloths in the bedroom into the wet pail for a good soaking. I also use teatree oil in the wet pail.

I used (and my sister uses) large ziplock bags. You can stick them in your diaper bag and reuse them. So I guess that is `dry`

Dry pail with baking soda. It has a lid, and is smell free. It really only has nighttime pee diapers now, since EC has been going so well.

Yes it did! I have been going back and forth with a friend who dry pails, I wet pail, and was wondering what most did....

I use a wet pail with tea tree and lavender oil. No smell when the lid is on, I keep it right beside the washer so no problem moving it when full, and the oils are antibacterial. Cleans well adn I don`t have to pre-rinse! Did my poll inspire this one?

  5. OMG, I posted on FB (in reponse to a suggestion made to me on From Our House To Yours) that I didn`t like a business because the items were very expensive and my friend got a bad deal there and the owner is threatening to sue me! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I actually paid a consultation fee and my lawyer told me that she was `absurd with possible mental health problems.` I am protected by the fisrt ammendment to express my honest opinions freely where I choose, but he said she can take it to court(because people can TRY to sue over anything) anyway and that it might cost me legal bills. We will both be out a lot of money because she couldn`t possibly win. Can you believe that? FML! First my records and now this! I hope my baby isn`t a bad luck baby. I see people not recommending or recommending businesses all the time on FB!

  8. I`ve re-thought the moderating of the member-postings. How does this sound? Let`s change it to usage, rather than length of time as a member. Say your first 10 or 20 polls, questions and pictures need to be approved by a Mod or something like that. Someone posting the racist polls and adding the kiddie porn is unlikely to participate as a normal member. Once you are verified as a regular member you`re no longer monitored.

  10. Twilight valentines for 7 year olds... appropriate or not? DD received a valentine with a very... sultry smoldery Edward on the front and I was just kind of surprised that anyone would buy those for 7 year olds? I know I`m on the conservative side in general on those kinds of things, but this really surprised me!
