wow, you are so lucky! DEFO let him sleep on as long as he wants! He obv needs it, you just enjoy it! I`m still not getting a good night`s sleep and my twins are 13 months.

I must ad that my baby is 7 weeks and he sleeps 12 hours (1-2 feedings) at night and approx 5-6 hours during the day. Aren`t we sooo lucky ;)

but I do want to add that I wake my son up at 8am every morning so that naptimes, feedtimes stay the same or close to the same every day. Some mornings he`ll wake up at 7:30 and hang out in his crib and play with toys until I come get him at 8 and some mornings he`d sleep his life away if I let him. lol. If you like things being on a schedule then wake him up.. if it doesn`t bother you then let him sleep in. =)

Wake him up??? Your kidding right?!?!?! Of course you don`t wake a sleeping baby...take advantage, rest, and do what you can do! Sounds like you deserve it being you said he didn`t nap much the first five months of his life...take it mama, take it!

my son sleeps 8-8 or 9-8... 11 or 12 hrs is normal,

The mommies with late sleeping babies, I am jealous. No matter what time Madison goes to bed she is up at 6:30-7:00 every morning.

Addisyn is 5 months as well, and sleeps roughly the same time, she slept in til 11 today!! :)

thanks guys... Believe me it has been this easy. He just started sleeping... He was one of those nb- 5 months old that never took naps. Thats why i worried that he is finally sleeping :)he does wake up once a night too and sometimes 2 times but it only for a short time and he goes right to sleep.
