I had a drug free home water birth. I highly recommend it. Great for pain management and a lovely peaceful natural way to birth.

I had a home water birth (after two hosptal births)and it was the most amazing experience! My hubby and I had deliberated for a long time, weighing up the pros and cons, but I was fortunate to have a very supportive midwife who does a lot of home births and I can honestly say it was the best decision we ever made. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a water birth.

i would love a waterbirth but they dont let us do them here unless we do a home birth and even then the midwives dont really like doing them :( i wanted one with DD but they told me i couldnt

It seems nasty to me that you are sitting in your birth stuff. If that kind of stuff doesnt bother you then you might enjoy it. I just would never do it because I wouldnt want to sit in that.

I had one!! I LOVED it! I got to deliver her myself. I labored for two hours on the ball in the shower and then during transistion switched to the tub and my daughter was born in under two hours in the tub. I was naked but didnt feel exsposed because I was in water. If its offered where you deliver go for it! I was also allowed to delay cord cutting and stayed in the water after the birth for a while. We drove about 30 miles to go t o the birth center to have a water birth over the regular hospital. Sooo worth it.
