im allergic to penn too, they gave me some other antibiotic but i dnt remember what it was, it didnt give me any side effects, but my labor was so quick i didt have the antibiotics the full 3 hrs like i was supposed to so they had to run tests on the baby before we could leave! (he was fine) but jsut tell them when ur at the hispital u tested positive and ur allergic to penn, theyll kno what to give u && dont worry it will be fine!

I know what its called but the only side effect was the burning I felt when they start the meds. thats all!!

Recent polls- do you consider it a luxury to be a stay home mother?
- i travelled last night hour and half hour journey to and then back to see a friend,was told by people not to travel towards the end could bring on contractions,could there be something to it?the journey was ok,and considering all house work ans stuff i would think its ok!

- My period only lasted two days (normally its 4-5days). I`ve been having period like cramps AFTER my period, stomach pain, sore boobs, I`ve been going to the bathroom galore, and my (lower back; like in the same spot as my front so I guess pain all around) has been hurting. I believe I had sex on a day I was ovulating but we USED A CONDOM. Could I be prego? My boobs have been so sore that I cant function. I cant think of any other reason why I would feel this way!!! Oh when should I take a test? Thanks!

- I`m at 19 weeks, and just had my 20 week ultrasound a week early (thank you THANKSGIVING!!), am overjoyed to find out everything is A OK BUT I have `marginal Placenta previa` my midwife says she`s NOT concerned and that it will VERY VERY VERY likely move up on its own and I can deliver naturally and vaginally as planned, if not I have to have the dreaded C-section. Which i`m SO terrified over I get into a panic every time i think about it. So, my question is: Has anyone here HAD marginal placenta previa and had it move up by the time the baby is born?
