heathert (975.5 days ago) Yes the flu has been around forever but this is a knew strain and to me it is a little scary- am I freaked out no. I do worry about it laying dormant and becoming worse during flu season seeing I will be having baby early Nov.And my son 11 had asthma really bad and gets really sick a few times a year. So scared, freked, no just aware. EditDelete
KristinaA (975.5 days ago) I had Influenza A a few weeks ago and took Tamiflu and got better quickly. Swine flu is a strain of Influenza A so my swab was sent to the CDC and we`ve yet to receive the results (3 weeks later, or I think it`s 4 now). I wonder if the lady who died from it had other complications. I was really upset about it and having to take the medicine, but my OB assured me that thousands of pregnant women get the flu every year and they take Tamiflu with no problem. Hope this helps. canadababy (975.6 days ago) You have such a higher chance of dying from the regular flu, I`m not worried at all :) Just take normal precautions and you`ll be fine, washing hands, etc. EditDelete
~amy~ (975.6 days ago) aww thats sad :( it does concern me. Not greatly but then again all illnesses are of a concern. I might be more concerned if I was pregnant.. EditDelete
