aprilraine (157.8 days ago) having a bath lowers your body temperature, and that is supposed to make you sleepier faster (not just for babies) because your body temperature naturally lowers a bit in the evening.

Mumbo (158 days ago) I don`t know if it settles them more than not because I do it every night, but i`ve never had to settle my son to sleep (he goes to sleep straight away) so that might be a sign?!
summerisis (158.1 days ago) We feed our daughter a bedtime snack of oatmeal top help her relax. I read bedtime stories to her and sing the same 3 songs each night. There was a period when we went on a walk each night and that calmed her too. She`s 15 months and sometimes I give her a massage, which can help calm her.

mumzie1212 (158.3 days ago) i dont know if it helped my son fall asleep better but we got him into a really good routine. he knows after bath/ shower now, that he has a little bit of time before bed. i feel like it gives him a little time to wind down after a long day.
