You should be fine. I too did similar to you. Had baby, had sex, then got mirena, and no period yet. My doc told me I most likely will not have a period.

Are you breast feeding? If you are not breast feeding you definitely might be pregnant.. if you are I`m thinking there`s 95% chance your not. I`m 9 months pp and still no period due to breast feeding.

I got the mirena at my 6 weeks check up, My daughter is 10 months and I`ve only had one period since then. It`s normal.

You could always take a home test just to be sure!

i had the mirena as well. i didnt have a period for over a year and a half and i loved it!! the only problem i had with it is that for the first few months it hurt me and the b/f when we had sex. oh, and it fell out after only being in for a year and a half and now im pregnant again!! lol. and during the time i had the mirena in, we never used protection and we didnt get pregnant til it fell out. if i were you i wouldnt worry about not having a period, but if you really are concerned about being pregnant again just take a test to put your concerns to rest.

I have mirena too. My little guy just turned a year old today and I have been on it 8 weeks pp. I have not had a period yet either. I just stopped breastfeeding 6 weeks ago, so that probably contributed. Just in case I would take a test, but some people do not get their periods on mirena. I usually spot for a couple days...so we`ll see. I better not be pregnant...lol.
