Ok tell me if I am being TOO much.. My son is 1 1/2 yrs, my fiance asked me if his parents could take him to a resturant this weekend and I said sure why not? Then later i asked him where they were planning on taking him, and he said chucky cheese. I said ` Ummm NO I dont think so, Ive been waiting to take him there, but havent because I personally dont think he would have that much fun at his age right now.` Its really important to do things like that w/ my son for the first time, and Ive been WAITING to take him there. I feel like u know I raise my son night and day, alone practically(because my fiance and I havent been living together, off and on living) So i feel like if i want to take my son there 1st i should be able to but he thinks im being pathetic. Its kinda like the zoo, obviously its important for my to take him there 1st too.. I deserve to see him do things first, and his mother has already pissed me off in the past with 1st things, like taking him on his first walk in his stroller around my neighborhood.. AM I BEING PATHETIC??? (Baby poll by cutelilmama, 970 days ago)

LKLmama (969.5 days ago) Why dont you tell them you will meet them there and you ALL can see his first trip there?
lovingmytoddler (969.6 days ago) My daughter was 1 and half when I took her to chucky cheese, they have kiddie playgrounds there for the little ones. They also have the riding carosel and the moving cars. Great for little ones. My daughter had a ball. The baby slide was her best. My husband works alot so I am a SAHM. I do alot with her. But they aren`t going to remember it, although I just love seeing my daughter smile and have a fun time. there`s always other days you can take the baby.
jenakers (969.6 days ago) You can get hung up on firsts, I have. What I have done is picked a few that really meant alot to me. First zoo, first halloween, first Christmas. Try not to sweat every first, pick some important ones and stick to them. They`re just excited grandparents. I think it`s sweet they want to treat him to some fun...maybe the park would be better?
munchkinsmommie (969.7 days ago) I am the exact same way. I want to be there for the firsts. My 6 year old just spent a week with my inlaws. He has two wiggly teeth I was so worried that he would loose them while at their house. He did not I was so happy. I am the same way with my new LO. I want to see their first reactions to everything.
angie2008 (969.7 days ago) i agree with buttersblock too, you can take him when he is about 3 ish and it will be more fun and he may even remember it!
butterblocksmom (969.7 days ago) Let them take him...he won`t remember going there, but your finance and your in-laws will if you say they can`t.
coltonsmom (969.7 days ago) I took my son to Chuck E Cheese right around that age and it was an AWFUL experience. They aren`t old enough to enjoy it yet and get extremely upset when you try to take them away from the little kiddy ride(s). He threw a fit when we were tying to eat. He wouldn`t settle down for anything. We both walked out of there saying `Why in God`s name did we do this?` hahhaha. I know exactly how you feel too because I felt the same way about well, everything! We`ve got to be the first (my husband and I) - true he`ll never remember it but you`ll have pictures. It`s your call - understandably enough to be upset about that particular place but trust me, they`ll have their hands full if they go with him. :p
taliyahsmom (969.7 days ago) I dont think your being pathetic! Obviously its important to you! I would just tell them you have been waiting to take him there forever so tell them your gonna tag along. etiher 1.they will pick somewhere else. or 2. you will get to go with him the frist time!! :)
MS.mom (969.7 days ago) As a mother you should want to experience as much as possible the first time with them. I mean if chuck e cheese is a big deal for you than it is so be it.
