I got my DD`s done at two mo, as soon as she got her shots. The aftercare is nothing really. I never cleaned them a lot or anything. I think if you clean them too much that can cause problems. I just cleaned them once a day for a few days and turned them whenever I thought about it. Shes almost 4 now and has never ever had an infection. I keep real gold in there and the only prob I have had is her taking them out and losing one (never both, just one, lol!). But this started when she was around 2/3. She never messed with them before then.

5 months old! no problems. cleaned them for the first week and turned them. No infection. She never messes with them, they have never fallen out! I love them!! :)

I was considering piercing them when she was a baby but then I decided I don`t want to worry about cleaning and turning them all the time and possible infection :) I`m going to wait until she`s much older...even though I think it looks so cute!

My oldest was 7 months but with this baby, were getting them done this week (shes 5 months now). At 7 months she kept pulling them out and losing them. Hopefully 5 months is young enough not to notice.
