zookeeper (967.5 days ago) Note: It has been at least 10 years since I went to Chattagnooga so my info is old! The aquarium was really nice! I have always like the incline railway just because it is an odd way to ride a train. LOL Rock City is fun for kids. I loved going to the cave at Raccoon Mountain (I think that is the name)...
armymom (967.5 days ago) haven`t been personally but I keep hearing it`s great. They do boat rides down the river and I hear that`s fun. We were gonna go this weekend for Fathers day but ended up in Nashville instead since it`s closer.
Aiona (967.6 days ago) If you`re going to be there around July 4th (which is about 1 1/2 weeks away! Wow!), they have fireworks on the river. Some people rent boats to watch from the water. If you have kids, there is an awesome antique restored carousel by the river, too. They also have a minor league baseball stadium, if you`re into baseball. Hiking in the mountains is fun, and there are some odd caves around there to explore. There`s a lake/park (Booker T. Washington State Park) if you like fishing. I love Chattanooga. Can you tell? :)
MS.mom (967.6 days ago) Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg--more things to do and they also have a nice aquarium. Back to Chattanooga though... Haven`t been to the aquarium in Chattanooga though, everone said it was really nice though that I know has been (which is alot of people). Mommiekayla mentioned Rock CIty and Ruby Falls. Me and DH also went and played put-put golf and go-carts. UMM. They also have an old fashioned train ride you can do. Oh, and the Southern BElle boat ride. YOu can either take a ride down the river or ride and eat dinner (whatever time you decide). PRobably some more stuff but I can`t think of anymore. It`s been 7 yrs since we have been there so they might have added more stuff.
