We have managed to avoid pain medication. Izzy did have some Bendryl when she an allergic reaction to something but nothing else!

Ive had to give Kara calpol(uk paracetemol) 4 times a day for the past week along with ibuprofen 3 times a day, Kara has had a bad urine infection and is now dealing with an infection in both ears(blood coming from them) so ive had no option but to give her them to make her a little more comfortable

My daughter had surgery and I used Tylenol (sparingly) during her recovery, and I used it for a fever as well. I wouldn't use Ibuprofen (Motrin) on myself, so I wouldn't ever give that to her.

my baby is only 4 months. so, as of now ive never needed it. ((knock on wood)). her immune system is incredible. we`ve had pink eye and the flu go thru our house and she hasnt picked up either.

My son had viral menagitis at a week old and was hospitalized again when he was 12 months for a high fever and dehydration. So yes, he has gotten both by the time he was a year and again just over a year. Monitored closely by the hospital nurses and docs.

Yes,I`ve used Tylenol only :) Motrin is Ibuprofen and I don`t think it`s good for kids even if it says it is..

yes, i have given tylenol for fever and teething, however i prefer herbal and homeopathic remedies
