i got 3 for my shower, each had different really useful things. i liked bibs, onsies, socks, baby mittens, all in one body wash/ shampoo, rattles, baby spoons, books, cloth diapers and burp clothes, rattles, all the little stuff you register for medicine wise (gas drops, motrin, baby toothpaste and brush) and on the top of each one was a stuffed animal or toy i registered for. oh, and baby shoes and booties, so cute too:)

Those Bright Start chain link things, teethers, diaper rash cream, baby tylenol, sunblock, wrist/ankle rattles, etc...

a mommy pamper kit, my friend got my a bag with lots of pamper items(lip-balm,face creams,masks, body butter, foot and leg creams etc etc) i loved it

burp clothes, pacifiers, for sure ointment for diaper rash, thermometer, nail clippers, bedtime lotion and bath wash, a swaddler blanket (woombie).

Butt stuff!! (paste, ointment, vaseline, A&D etc.) I use a ton of the stuff!

Sounds funny but kleenex. I cried a lot the first week! Just because, or the baby was crying and I couldn`t figure out why, because the baby was finally here...so on. And for little spit ups when you can`t find anything else because your sleepless brain isn`t working.
