If you have a good friend you can trust have them go with you. I had things done to me with my first I would of loved to not have done if I was aware they were not necessary at the time. You could also look into a mid wife. I am not sure if their is emergency midwives but it is an option you may want to check out. Remember when you are in the hospital and everyone is around you trying to make decisions for you that if it doesnt seem right to you ask for another opinion. I had nurses sticking stuff in my IV and ended up having alot of inner stitches cause they literally ripped the baby out without waiting for my contraction.

You have no luck! I think you`ll be fine though. I`m sure one of them will be available when you go into labor.
