Baby-poll poll For sahm`s: How good are you about getting ready first thing in the morning?
(Baby poll by juno, 959 days ago)
Always!
Most of the time.
About half the time.
Only when I know I'm going to go out.
Hardly ever! I just can't find the time!

I get dressed but I don`t put on makeup. I only wear a little eye makeup and lip gloss for special times. I feel funny walking around in my night clothes. No matter how bad I feel I always get dressed for the day.

I would have plenty of time to get ready if I didn`t spend any time on here.

my son is 8 mo old and he wakes up between 5:30 and 7:00 a.m...so getting up earlier than him to get ready is out of the question..once he is up we have a routine of feedings, playtime, naps and cleaning..so i dont find time to myself to get a shower until the afternoon nap which is around 1 or 2..as far as makeup goes, i only put it on if im leaving the house, and doing my hair consists of pulling it back in a chaotic bun..my son is a hair puller, and long flowing hair is never safe around him..

I work 12 hours a week, (11pm to 3am)and on the days that I don`t work I try to make it out of bed by 10:00am. I typically don`t get myself showered and dressed until 1-2:00. I am cleaning and taking care of the kids the rest of the morning and when my 8month old finally takes her afternoon nap, or the kids seem like they can be content for 15 min without me, then I shower.

as soon as i hear that first whimper from my son im up! I pick him up and walk him to the bathroom, i strip him down and put him in the shower (hes 2) then i go change my daughter and giver her a bottle, while shes drinking i unload the dish washer and make my sons bed, and my bed. I check my e mails and watch the kids play!! Then its lunch and nap time for the both of them! More play time (if we didnt go out that day) and soon enough its dinner and bed time routines!!

  1. What do you think is better (or worse) for kids? TV or video games?
  2. I`m interesed in getting an innotab for my kids. Are the extra downloads pricey? How is the product as a whole?
  3. Thought they were fixing the problem with the profiles? Mine is now starting to disappear and most of my friends profiles are gone. Is it getting fixed or what because its more than a joke at the moment. Maybe its the ads causing the problems because its the only thing that seems to stay when the profiles disappear.
  4. If you had a `favourable` cervix (started to dilate and soft) did a membrane sweep work for you?
  5. Should I buy my sister a Belly Bandit for her shower? She said that is what she wanted when I asked. I just have a hard time spending that much money on some thing she might niot like. Especially because it was me who put the dumb :) idea in her head!! I bought and used one for three out of my four and loved it...but is it for everyone? Or should I throw down the money to something more practical?
  6. Are your children exposed to two hours or less of TV per day? (This includes when your shows are on and they are awake and around at the same time in the same room)

  7. Just finished making a birthday cake for the first time from our baby girl for her daddys bday tomorrow :o)
  8. Extension of last Valentine question..I should clarify that we are having V-day dinner tomorrow alone but still just the fact that he bought our gifts at the same time at the same place bugs the s-it out of me. He knows I like plants and I`m pretty sure he went to a nice nursey and got me one but the fact is he told me he got his mom a small little plant. OMG I fee like I total b-tch but I feel like telling him I know what he probably got me and I do not want anything that you are giving your mom!! But then he wopuld know I snooped and saw where he went on our checking account.
  9. O.k I know this is a off the wall question..Is it weird and selfish of me to be annoyed that my husband has is giving his mom a Vanetine gift and card tonight when she comes over and wants to give me mine too today? I know I`m probably being sensitive and I feel bad that I made the comment `if you give me the same thing as your mom I`m gonna cry`. He said I should`nt ruin the surprise and I told him I was sorry but I just wanted our Valentines seperate because everything includes his family and it`s a day for lovers. Am I....
