it means you need to put your feet UP! Lie down on the sofa and elevate your feet. Towards the end of pregnancy you need to do this often.

at the end of my pregnancy i could barely stand let alone walk with the huge cankles i had! i worked retail up until my due date and let me tell you i was so swollen! (i was due july 4 2002) between the humidity of the summer, the standing on my feet all day, i was ready to go a sit on the couch in my ac home all day long LOL! i swelled up my legs, my hands swelled so bad i couldnt wear any rings. my wedding band barely fit on my pinky finger! i had alot of water issues. i found if i soaked my feet in cold water i felt alot better. =)

If its just your feet then just the wondeful `joys` of being pregnant! Just relax and elevate them to help the swelling

every time I go to the dr. they tell me that as long as it is just my feet that is normal, and the part of the joy of being pregnant in the summer. They also said that if my hands and face start swelling, then I need to worry.
