k.r (141.6 days ago) Now that my daughter is 6 months old i put her on her tummy because thats how she ends up after. Before she was able to roll on her own i would put her on her back like recomended.
harimaudahan (141.7 days ago) I used one of those triangle thingies that help prop baby up diagonally (sorry I don`t know what they are called lol) and every time my daughter woke up I would switch what side she was propped on so she didn`t develop a flat spot on her head. It worked great, she had/has the most perfect round head a baby could have lol. When she started being able to move on her own and flip over onto her tummy, I let her sleep how she chose.
cutelilmama (141.8 days ago) This is going to come off as a BAD MOM(ME) right now, but I could care less what others think.. My daughter is 3 weeks old and I have been putting her to sleep on her belly, she has really bad tummy pains that only subside when she is laying on my chest of on belly. This happened w/ my son also, but i never put him on his belly I was waaaay to paranoid. I DO CO SLEEP also.. I dont personally believe what they say about SIDS, Im sure all of u slept on ur belly as babies, because they thought it was BAD then.. I dont think they KNOW what causes sids.. I just like to let things be natural.. and i also feel that is very natural and calming to the ifant to co sleep w/ mama, and I love it (i know off topic!) : )

mamabear7406 (142.1 days ago) You are supposed to put them on their back to sleep but the older they get they start to roll over. I used to worry myself silly trying to make sure my son stayed on his back to sleep!
canadababy (142.1 days ago) I always put her on her back but she usually turns onto her side.
