carmensmomma (140.1 days ago) After i had my daughter i had the jelly belly. But it went away. I`m smaller framed and it went away on its own, it took a few months but i was back to old self in no time.
~amy~ (140.2 days ago) My belly felt like jelly for a good month but now 6 months PP I am back to normal. My belly is exaclty the same as before and I had a c-section.
lovelee (140.3 days ago) If its just fat loss and muscle tone that your after then anyone can do that! I have three kids and get my tummy back after every pregnancy in about 6 or 7 months. It probably helps that I`m an aerobics instructor! But all you need is regular exercise and to eat healthy food every day without sneaking too many treats and you can do it. The other problem after having a baby is stretched out skin, not just strech marks but skin that just wont go back into shape and unfortunatly the only thing you can do about that is surgery.
Lou-Li (140.4 days ago) I JUST posted a poll yesterday with a similar kind of question regarding tummy-slackness! I was looking to find out how many a day on the ab-roller I`d need to do in order to make a difference! I think most people know exactly how you feel. It is so unpleasant to look down at your body and still expect to see the same toned beautiful body you had before pregnancy!!! It is very disheartening! But although I have a long way to go before being `happy enough` with my slack tummy and general figure, I have come a long way since having the twins 14 months ago, as I do lots of exercise (Well, enough to fit into my day!) -- 4-mile fast walks each day, sometimes pushing the buggy and sometimes not; ab-roller exercises for tummy; and I also now have a mini side-stepper I got for quite cheap, which I haven`t used much yet but plan to start using regularly to tone up even more. Walking tall and fast and for an extended period (like a few miles) as often as you can during the week will really help to shift weight and tone up.
honghuzhenni (140.6 days ago) for me I got pregnant w/ #2 recently and my daughter just turned 9 months old, so I never totally got back to normal before I started looking pregnant again. LOL. I know what you mean, it sure is hard to get past that when I look at myself. However, after a better diet right before I got pregnant again, I was able to fit in some things I couldn`t fit in before, had a 20 min. a day walking routine. It felt amazing! That gave me lots of hope that if I`d kept at it I would start looking quite normal again. Well, I`ll deal with that again after #2 is born. LOL. You`re definitely not alone.
butterblocksmom (140.6 days ago) Yep...totally achievable! I just watched my carb intake and did a decent amount of working out...nothing too crazy (esp if you`re BFing).
k.r (140.6 days ago) Im 22 yrs old with two children 20 months apart, and OMG do i ever know what your talking about. I have the same issue. I have currently lost 42 pounds of pregnancy weight but still have another 25 to go (total 67 pounds) And my tummy looked worse after the second one! Its so deflated and loose. I have been wondering the same thing as well *will it go away once i loose all the baby weight?* truth is its streched skin and im doubtful. If the baby fat is gone what happens to the skin??? lol it cant snap back! Im so confused. I really do hope it does though! answer to your Q i gave birth 6 months ago and have lost 42 pounds, mine is still horrid!!
happyforest (140.7 days ago) mine is not loose or jelly like...just give it time. i didnt do anything except wait, and it was back to normal within a few months
ladobruk (140.7 days ago) I think it has a lot to do with your age. The older you get the harder you have to work at it.
MrsL (140.8 days ago) eww the worst thing after labour was the philsbury dough boy tummy, it was horrible. I have always had a flat flat toned stomache, not now tho. Having baby #2 in Nov plan on working my butt and belly off but I don`t think my stomache will ever be the same. My lil girl is worth it tho
♥ ħhlЄy ▫ ßєär ®♥ (140.8 days ago) yep after i had my baby i really didnt think my stomach looked pregnant anymore like alot of women do when they leave the hospital...it was just a little bit jiggly lol and soft..and UNACCEPTABLE! the stretch marks were the worst looking after i `deflated` :) But, just as with my first pregnancy it slowly went away and i got muscle definition lines back in my stomach (from not even working out) and after about 4 mos my stomach was back to normal. Now I just have a little `pooch` but it isn`t bad and YES, if you work at it the saggyness will go away!!!
angie2008 (140.8 days ago) i have a jiggly belly and it isn`t going away anytime soon. One of my friends had 2 kids, they are 4 and 7 now and she is tiny, like a size xs and and is in her mid thirties. her belly looks great, but it still has that jiggly skin when you touch it but from a far it looks fantastic.
