For both of my previous pregnancy`s they refused to use anything but my last period date. My ultrasound date ended up being correct both times, they even let me go two weeks over due with my last one who ended up being 10lbs 12oz. This time I was breastfeeding when I got pregnant so I didn`t ahve a last period date, so now I get my way and everyone will be using the ultrasound date. It doesent make sence to me to use the last period date since they don`t know when after it you got pregnant, and in ultrasound they can see exactly what stage of development the baby is at ^_^

No my second baby was bigger but the dr. told me every one was a different weight so they almost never change a due date.

My date was changed from jan23 to Feb2 :) that was changed at my 21 week ultrasound.

Around this time its common for your due date to change, however it becomes more in-correct at this time. The time its more correct is around 6-12 weeks. If you dont remeber your last LMP doctors suggest you use the first due date given during the 6-12 week window.

My doc wouldn`t move your due date after the 12 week sonagram. After that it is harder to tell.

I had an U/S at 6 weeks, that was my due date. I had another one @ 18 weeks and measured due date 7 days sooner, but we kept the first due date because the eariler the U/S, the more accurate the date. THANK GOODNESS because she came 4 days overdue, just a big baby- 9lbs. (but if we had moved my due date that would have been 11 days overdue!) I say, keep in your mind the farthest due date so that you don`t get your hopes up that baby will be here earlier. In the end 1 day is an eternity!

mine was a bit earlier like 9 weeks and it changed mine. My midwife said it will only change if its 8 days or more different with the grown rate of the fetus.

Ive only gotten one ultrasound and that was at 6 weeks. Im hoping maybe they would change it too sooner.
