mommy2be707 (952.7 days ago) not to bite while nursing or just in general? EditDelete
mommyofxyxyxx (952.8 days ago) Give him plenty of other things to bite on. They bite because it feels good on their gums and stops the hurting a little. Even at that age, they can sense right from wrong. So be firm when they bite you. And replace it with something they can bite on. They`ll eventually get the message. Kids are smart! EditDelete
nutnut (952.8 days ago) basically you just have to catch him doing it and tell him NO!. just like anything else. i have had friends who would lightly bite their children back, i didnt like that idea at all honestly. my daughter figured out that biting hurt bc she bit her own hand and i never had any issues with her biting probably bc of that. if the child is biting bc they are teething, you could just offer a cold chew ring or washcloth when the child has the urge to bite. if they are doing it when theyre angry or frustrated, then its a behavior problem, so it should be treated just like any other unwanted bad behavior.
