ladobruk (137 days ago) I just cleared out any dangerous items and let her go free reign. I can see her while I am in the kitchen. If I had to go to another area of the house I used her jumperoo - she loved it at that age and her baby einstein exersaucer.
LizzyB. (137.3 days ago) I bought two of these playzones from target.com. They are awesome! I can get stuff done and not worry or sit in there with my son too. Now that he`s 14 months, we use it as gates in front of the TV and other things he likes to get into. A little pricey, but really worth it! They do go on sale and you can get free shipping sometimes....

Mommy2Chloe (137.4 days ago) When my LO started rolling we `cleaned out` our living room. She now has an almost cleared out floor to roll around on. But if we`re not in the room, we usually put her in her jumperoo. If it really bothers you to let him roll around, get a pack n play and put him in it. Once my LO starts crawling, I`ll probably get a baby gate pin or put her in the pack n play.
TwinklinBrwnEyes (137.4 days ago) I should add..yes a swing is great, bouncy chair, saucer, etc but they do like to roll around as well.
TwinklinBrwnEyes (137.4 days ago) Put a gate around him. My cousin has twins and this is how she kept them almost all of the time and they were content with it. When your baby gets older you can through toys in this little area. Get him used to being gated in early on lol sorry but some may not agree with this...im not suggesting to keep them like this all day but when it comes to safety and you needing to do things around the house with out worrying then this probably the best way to go.
