my oldest has his first girlfriend, she seems a nice girl. I actually look forward to the day my sons have wives I want to see what kind of men they are. If anything I will probably be on them for not doing what I raised them to do LOL

I have four sons, they are 22, 19, 16, and 12. I am expecting a girl this time. My sons have dated some really horrible girls and some nice girls. The best thing to do is support them and be nice. Be nice to the girl too. If you act like you hate them your son will go into defense mode and you will lose him. When my oldest started dating a girl he had known for yours, I told him to be careful because she was coming out of a relationship and was pregnant. My son dated this girl and the rest of could quickly see she was totally wrong for him, EVERYONE said so. I never spoke against her but prayed she would go away. She told my son she wanted an engagement ring for Christmas, I wanted to cry. Two days before Christmas she dumped him for his best friend. I did a little dance. I comforted my son as much as I could and supported him. Now, he asks how he was ever so blind. If I had spoken against her I could have lost him forever. There is always a chance that us moms can be wrong too.

OMG I have 3 boys and I don`t want to even think about it! I know so many goofey females, I can`t even imagine one of my boys with some skank. Hopefully by the time they are older they`ll be able to recognize a good woman from a no good one. And even worse.....my DD! Poor girl will probably never have a BF anyways with 3 bros, lol!

There is no way i could ever be as crazy as my MIL. She is a lying backstabbing crazy b---h! She actually put my son in harms way to spite me and said as much! I will be crazy, but i will look like a peach compared to her!

I don`t blame my husband for disliking my mother and unfortunately I am a little nutty too, but not nearly as crazy and selfish as my mom. I hope I don`t act like her, but it may be inevitable, I will try not to do the horrible things she does, but it`s hard to be different than the way you were brought up...

I gave up acting crazy in high school...HOWEVER, Ill let him know if I sont think she is a good woman for him. But will remember to keep in mind that hes grown and can make his own decisions. Hopefully Ill have raised him to pick someone good =)
