jendez (137.4 days ago) My situation was pretty much the same as yours, I had endured 2 straight days of induced labor, then an emergency c-section where I lost a lot of blood, then I had a fever for 3 days and couldn`t have my baby because they had her in NICU for observation and medication. It was horrible, I definitely understand where you are coming from. But, I just had my second child a month ago, and it was a planned c-section and everything went amazingly fast and easy. It was seriously a totally different experience from my first c-section. Recovery was a million times easier, I didn`t have a bleeding problem, my baby was fine and I got her have her as soon as I got out of recovery =)
ymmstartingover (137.5 days ago) Talk to your doctor about your fears and the doctor can let you know it will all be fine. If something cause the problems then they will know what to watch for. Chances are it was a fluke and you have nothing to worry about. Have a baby and just enjoy it.
MS.mom (137.5 days ago) IF you are planning on another section this time---you won`t have to experience the whole emergency thing. Having a planned section is much better than an emergency one. I think you will be fine.
mamax2 (137.7 days ago) Go for it mommy! You`re one strong woman to go through all that & still want to have another! & whoever told you `no two pregnancies are the same` is absolutely RIGHT! That`s the really I am so scared to have my second-because pregnancy & labor was SOOOOOO EASY with my first, I feel that I`ll never be that lucky again! You just have to follow your heart, you want another child despite of the complications you`ve had in the past-even if you did have to go through the same thing again (which I don`t think will happen) you`ve gotten thru it so it won`t be as scary.
Austin::and::Alexs::Momma (137.9 days ago) what was the reasoning for it all - do you know? perhaps the next birth would be a little less tramatic if you would decide to have a repeat csection, then it would be scheduled - not saying the bad couldn`t happen again, but your body wouldn`t go through all that labor first...Best of luck in whatever you decide! =)
♥ ħhlЄy ▫ ßєär ®♥ (137.9 days ago) My first birth experience was traumatic to say the least! I had pre eclampsia, and my son was born with a serious in-utero brain bleed that caused him to have seizures and be life flighted 3 hrs away to a NICU where we spent nearly a month. Obvisouly..I was nervous the second time i found out I was pregnant..Not just for myself but for my child..and I didn`t think I could handle going through that experience again. I found a great new doctor who i LOVED and he did everything in his power to assure me that my baby was okay. He did weekly monitoring and frequent ultrasounds just to ease my mind mostly. I just really put my trust in him (and God for that matter) that everything would go smoothly the next time around. After each ultrasound turned out good, the fear began to go away. I`m sure for you the second time will be more prepared as well..your dr will watch you closely as u have a high risk pregnancy..so im sure things won`t be traumatic for you again :) Wow im gonna stop talking now this is long..
