i have never donated. i dont know how tru this is but i was told by my mother that i couldnt because i jandice when i was born and your not supose to donate. so i have just lived by that my whole life and havent done anything...

I used to donate all the time until my meds ruled me out but I also happen to work for the Canadian company that collects blood. Now I work in the Apheresis unit taking platelets for cancer patients. Donating is really not for everyone...so to all those out that don`t donate it`s okay!!!

been donating for years, have my gallon pin:) only passed out once, b/c i forgot i was donating that day and had skipped breakfast, big no no.

I did donate but then I passed out! They told me to gain 20 pounds and then come back lol! I would love to be able to give blood like my husband but I am too much of a light weight!

i`m pretty sure I would faint. While I was pregnant and do the GD blood test they took 6 viles from me and I started to black out. It gives me the hebbie jeebies thinking about it so no.

Nope...I`ve passed out multiple times and it`s way too embarrassing.

Weight always prevented me from donating. But, also when they drew blood during pregnancy, I got really light headed, dizy, and hot. One day I`ll brave it and try again since pregnancy left me with 10 extra pounds

I`ve donated a lot in the past...the very last time I did it, I passed out. It scared the crap out of me, so I never did it again. But, few weeks ago I registered and got swabbed for bone marrow, to possibly be a donor for someone in the furture.

i had never donated before but yesterday was my first time. my job had a blood drive. i did fine and would def do it again. ;)

I haven`t because there is usually something preventing me from doing so. I am normally under 110lbs and I am a runner and always have races coming up. So I don`t feel like I am able to donate. I would like too though!
