Thanks everyone! I feel more at ease now! The PG women didnt have any underlieing health probs as far as Ive found out but dont think they`ve said the whole thing on it yet xx

Pregnant women are at a higher risk for all illnesses because of a lowered immune system :) Just be careful and wash your hands frequently, no need to freak out.

It can be worrying as a women died in our local hospital and had no other underlying conditions. But put it in to perspective...Thousands of people have had it now and the ratio of people having it and dieing from it is not actually that high. Don`t stress over it. Like everyone else has said the normal flu can be much worse

*sigh* everytime I hear swine flu I just want to slap someone. Especially if that someone works in the government or media! The regular flu kills WAAAAY more every year. When the swine flu has assisted (yes JUST assisted not CAUSED) with a death they make it seem like it was just the swine flu.. check out the person that died. 99% of the time they were already sick with something chronic. Never take what the media says as the truth. They are there for a story and that is it! Also, like happyforest.. I have NEVER caught the flu and have NEVER been vaccinated against it! If you are worried about catching any flu.. up your intake of vitamin C and get your sleep!

i dont worry, the `normal` flu kills more people in one year than all the swine flu deaths put together so far. people are just blowing this out of proportion. ive never even had the regular flu, and ive also never been vaccinated for it.

My very best friend is 11 weeks pregnant and got the swine flu, as well as her husband and almost 2 year old daughter. She could not even get out of bed for 15 days! They did a scan and heartbeat check everyday and her baby is fine. They won`t know if there are long term effects until the baby is here. She is better now but she told be that she just felt like she has a really bad case of the flu and was very weak. I researched when I found out that soemone so close to me had it, and so far all of the recorded deaths in the US were NOT just from swine flu, they had some other illness or something else that weakened there immune system. The woman that I read that died in texas was very ill due to complications from the pregnancy, which is what they say actually killed her, she just has swine flu as well.

  3. Thought they were fixing the problem with the profiles? Mine is now starting to disappear and most of my friends profiles are gone. Is it getting fixed or what because its more than a joke at the moment. Maybe its the ads causing the problems because its the only thing that seems to stay when the profiles disappear.

  5. Should I buy my sister a Belly Bandit for her shower? She said that is what she wanted when I asked. I just have a hard time spending that much money on some thing she might niot like. Especially because it was me who put the dumb :) idea in her head!! I bought and used one for three out of my four and loved it...but is it for everyone? Or should I throw down the money to something more practical?

  8. Extension of last Valentine question..I should clarify that we are having V-day dinner tomorrow alone but still just the fact that he bought our gifts at the same time at the same place bugs the s-it out of me. He knows I like plants and I`m pretty sure he went to a nice nursey and got me one but the fact is he told me he got his mom a small little plant. OMG I fee like I total b-tch but I feel like telling him I know what he probably got me and I do not want anything that you are giving your mom!! But then he wopuld know I snooped and saw where he went on our checking account.
  9. O.k I know this is a off the wall question..Is it weird and selfish of me to be annoyed that my husband has is giving his mom a Vanetine gift and card tonight when she comes over and wants to give me mine too today? I know I`m probably being sensitive and I feel bad that I made the comment `if you give me the same thing as your mom I`m gonna cry`. He said I should`nt ruin the surprise and I told him I was sorry but I just wanted our Valentines seperate because everything includes his family and it`s a day for lovers. Am I....
