(Pregnancy poll by rickettsrules, 124 days ago)
You can set up the room while TTC if you want to
As soon as you find out you are pregnant
You should wait until after the first trimester

The day you find out you are pregnant. This is my 2nd so I would do it before your belly realy pops out. Its just easier...lol

I think waiting untill the second trimester. I started at 19 weeks with my son, just after christmas. I had a MC just shy of my third month and i was already buying baby clothing so now i think women should wait untill untill after three months!

I planned on starting it after we found out (20 weeks) but didn`t really start doing it until about 30 weeks. It was our storage/guest room and it had lots of stuff in there. I didn`t have it doen until about 37 weeks but I went to 41 weeks so I had plenty of time.

We started buying things around 14 weeks and my husband is going to paint it when he is off in August - I`m 21 weeks now.

I would say after the gender ultrasound for me, but if you`re planning on going with neutral themes and colors, anytime really.

I would say near the end of the 2nd trimester. Having the room all set up for a long time before the baby is due just makes it drag in even more. I would never do a room while TTC, thats just silly.

We waited until se found out if we were having a boy or girl and then I went to twon :) But if you aren`t finding out, I`d say after the 1st trimester.

  7. I`m at 19 weeks, and just had my 20 week ultrasound a week early (thank you THANKSGIVING!!), am overjoyed to find out everything is A OK BUT I have `marginal Placenta previa` my midwife says she`s NOT concerned and that it will VERY VERY VERY likely move up on its own and I can deliver naturally and vaginally as planned, if not I have to have the dreaded C-section. Which i`m SO terrified over I get into a panic every time i think about it. So, my question is: Has anyone here HAD marginal placenta previa and had it move up by the time the baby is born?
