sleepymomma (938.7 days ago) We switched Daisy to her own room and it was hard. I would start getting a bed time routine down now, before you go back to work. Have both you and daddy do the bed time routine, then just daddy, so your LO gets used to the idea of you not being there sometimes. We did the bath, story, bottle, now it is time for bed routine. It takes a little time and they are stubborn little kids.
heathert (938.9 days ago) my dd slept with me for 12 months she is now 13 months and sleeps so much better in her bed. I wish I had not waited so long! She fussed for about 15 min. the first night, less the next 2 now she leans into it rolls over and sleeps great. I was tired she was up out of habbit taking bottles through out the night and I was scared I would have my baby in Nov. and be up with both of them. She wil sleep 11-13 hours a night. Naps are great also. Good luck on it, it may not be easy but in my opinion and for us it was for the best and she needed it!
bethk (939.2 days ago) Patients is all I can say plus when u start you CAN NOT STOP as if they know if they cry enough ull pick them up theyll do it everytime. I didnt believe it the attachment method as I knew it would be harder when it came to this stage so she has slept in her bed since a few months old but she would fall asleep in our bed first, we`ve just did the fall asleep in ur own bed which took a good week or so and shes used to sleeping on her own, so expect it to take longer than that if hes never slept on his own and plenty of tears.
