Str8 As (937.3 days ago) Nope, I always pray for the person. We never really know a person`s situation.....I am a true believer that prayer changes things :-)
harimaudahan (937.4 days ago) I don`t pray and am not particularly religious, so I completely get what jenakers said. I`ve been told by people that they will pray for me a couple of times, and to be quite honest, it makes me uncomfortable. It`s one thing to ask for someone to pray for you, but to me its just not necessary. It makes you think..am I doing something wrong? Whats wrong with me that I need praying for? I can take care of myself thanks..
KR (937.5 days ago) I dont want to say something and give false comfort to someone if i might not do it.. Im very thankful if someone chooses to pray for me and my family. I believe in God but im not very religious.. I will say *im thinking about you and your family* bc i know i will be.. but i wont say im going to pray if i may not end up doing it.
abbyquiet (937.5 days ago) ♥ ħhlЄy ▫ ßєär ®♥, what are you supposed to say in that situation? i mean, i`m not particularly religious anymore, and i don`t pray often at all. i don`t want to sound rude or anything, it`s just not who i am anymore that`s all i don't feel like people should think i was rude either, because i don't believe the same thing. and like jenakers i don`t say it either, and in bad situations where that`s something people say... i generally don`t know how to comfort someone.
♥ ħhlЄy ▫ ßєär ®♥ (937.5 days ago) Thats a really good question. I think it`s rude to say uh..thanks though when somebody says they will pray for you?? But I always do it right after that..i pray for alot of people throughout the day.
ibaheir2dathrone (937.6 days ago) I say a short one then. If prayer is needed I add them to our prayer list. I agree with all of the ladies (except Jenakers)
california-mom (937.6 days ago) I do it right after were done talking then later again that night or during the day...
jenakers (937.6 days ago) I don`t say it. If someone says it to me I just say uh...thanks?
Austin::and::Alexs::Momma (937.6 days ago) Perhaps if their saying it out of `habit`, then they don`t actually believe in the power of prayer!
MS.mom (937.6 days ago) oh my...If I say I am going to pray, I am going to pray. I feel like I might get struck dead if I actually didn`t. That`s just wrong!
