carla81 (936.5 days ago) I really think it depends on your body, how much you`ve gained during pregnancy and what your genes are. Some people lose all the weight very quickly and go on to looks just as they did before getting pregnant, while others really struggle to lose the weight. If you want to drop weight then you`ll need to do cardio, for stengthening pilates and yoga is great. And like you said eating healthy and sensibly is key. I
armymom (937 days ago) I think yoga and pilates are great workouts for toning and strengthing your muscles/core BUT if you want to drop pounds then you`re going to need to add in some 20-40 minutes of cardio about 3 times a week. Some forms of pilates can be considered cardio but for the most part both types of excersise are controlled strengthening and will tone your muscles. Just add in some cardio.. even if its just taking babe for a walk everyday.. it counts. =) Good luck!
