KR (936.5 days ago) i didnt do anything, 3 weeks before my sons 1st birthday i just put him on it.. i will do the same with my daughter cold turkey in december (her b day is jauary 2nd)
mamacakes (936.6 days ago) The best way to do this is gradual....for instance....for an 8 ounce bottle, do 7 ounces formula mixed with 1 ounce of cows milk. Do this for a week or two depending on how the baby tolerates the cows milk. And then do 2 ounces of cows milk mixed with 6 ounces of formula for another week or two. And just continue decreasing the amount of formula while increasing the amount of cows milk. By doing it this way its much easier on their tummy.

athenaB1984 (936.6 days ago) My LO was drinking about 6 oz of formula at age 11-12 months. When I decided to switch her to cow`s milk, she was a little constipated. I have heard and tried with success, to give 4oz of cow`s milk diluted with 2oz of water. Did this for about 2 months so her tummy could get used to breaking down the enzymes in cows milk.
