We tried for 5 years to conceive, what really finally worked was using the Clear Blue Easy fertility monitor, it has us pregnant within 3 months of using it and that was after trying clomid and doing 3 IUI cycles that failed.

I was TTC but not charting or anything just sex as often as we could. 18 Months later I had still not gotten pregnant and just gave up and thats when it happened. So somewhat a surprise but a very welcome one.

we didnt use protection for one year.. we were not trying to have a baby though, we knew it would happen and were kinda waiting for that missed period that would bring us our son.

this time, i took out my nuvaring, because of the some of the side effects and got pregnant the next week. we weren`t trying to get pregnant... lol but we really weren`t trying not to get pregnant either. lol. it wasn`t really a suprise in the end. however we had sex for 2 years while we were dating using the pull out method. and by the time i got pregnant i kinda though maybe it couldn`t happen. lol.

we were not ttc and we were not using b/c because my DH was told he couldn`t have children took us 3yrs and what a surprise we both had. DH really didn`t believe me when I showed him the plus sign on the stick. He was very emotional after confirmation. Nevr thought he`d have a kid.

We we`re TTC but not tracking anything. Our first time we had sex without protection was the time I got pregnant so we didn`t have time to track anything if we wanted to lol

we tried for 16 months and the doctor put me on metformin, which is actually a diabetic pill i think, even tho im not a diabetic. but i tried those lil test strips that tell u when u ovulate and the first month after being on the med. i finally ovulated and got preg.

It was kind of a surprise. We were on vaca for days 4 and 5 of my period. I was on the placebo week of pills. They tell you your still kinda covered during that week! And I still had a light period!!! So, we didnt think it was necessary to use a back-up method. OOPS!

I had been tracking my cycles 6 months prior to ttc to see when I ovulated. And we got pregnant the first month of ttc, so I didn`t really need to get OPKs or check temp.

I voted `suprise` I was on birth control... which is partially true. I was on the patch, but the month I got pregnant my boyfriend and I were in the spa and I saw my patch floating around.. So we laid it out to dry and then stuck it back on when we got out. Next thing we know PREGNANT lol. I was somewhat surprised because I thought it would be harder to get pregnant... guess not.
