From what i read a pregnant women should sit in the back unless she is driving herself to decrease the chances of the air bag going off. The pressure from the air bag can cause harm to your unborn child. With that said i know i didnt follow the rule of thumb each time i got into a car (i was forced to alot when i was pregnant with my first by a worried grandmother lol)

It`s fine to sit in the front with an airbag, like EllaG said, you can still drive while you`re pregnant so you`re fine in the front :)

I took a long car ride about that many weeks last summer. My doc told me to take lots of breaks and get out and walk around. Also to drink lots of water. I said we will have stop alot if 30 wk pregnant lady drinks lots of water.

I`ve always heard that its fine to sit in a seat with an airbag, so long as you put yourself as far back as you can from the airbag. They don`t tell pg women not to drive (yet!) and most cars nowadays have drivers airbags, so I wouldn`t be too worried about it. If you feel better about it then pop in the backseat, but I know I`d be as sick as a dog if I had to sit in the back!
