my mom use to buy name brand clothing in mint condition from thrift stores and sell them on e bay etc. She made a good return on the clothing for sure!

Most consignment place let you price the items. They usually say a certain percentage of the original price. I`m thinking it about 50-75% but I`m not positive. A friend of mine consigns all the time but I have never done it. She makes decent money but most of the stuff she consigns is boutique type suff. Like the original prices are like $50-$70 an outfit. So, of course she`ll get a decent penny back but not close to what the item is worth. You might not get a lot for play clothes.

I took 5 boxes of clothes....baby, kid and adult clothes. I only made 20$!!
