wow sounds like he is in pain, not throwing a fit. at 3.5 months i dont think babies throw fits bc at that age they dont know how to manipulate you, so therefore they wont throw a fit whenthey dont get their way

mine did what you describe and still does at 13 months- face turn red also- I agree with everyonr else POOP.!!

I have a seven month old daughter who is a tru DIVA she has been having tantrums since she was about 3-4 months old and we dont feed into it. If she isnt in pain, hungry or dirty i let her cry it out or have her moment. Not every 3 month old who gets mad or fussy is having gas, they are small people and sometimes they are fustrated or grumpy as well. My daughter now is still doing it and i walk away and come back later to play with her. Most of the time shes ready to play by then. She likes to yell at me, and sometimes scream for no reason and then laugh ( i know ill have trouble with her later haha) But if your LO isnt sick, having reg bowel movements, isnt hungry or dirty then give him time. Dont cuddle during a moment like that or give postitive reactions if its a TRUE fit.

My LO is 7 months and is starting to shows signs of temper tantrums, but at 3.5 months my LO did what you described when she was having trouble taking a poo lol. But if your LO is throwing fits that young then you have all my sympathy for when he turns 2 lol. xD
