babyx2 (911.6 days ago) My little guy is pretty routine- he takes a morning nap between 9am-11am, another between 2pm-3:30pm and then begins to show signs of sleep around 6:30ish. I have started giving him baths w/massages every other night which seems to help him sleep better through the night- he usually falls asleep with a bottle around 7:45pm and wakes up around 5am for another bottle. He doesn`t always fall back to sleep, but when he does he will sleep until 6:30am. EditDelete
MelissaJoanne (924.9 days ago) Naps - either I breastfeed her when she seems drowsy and she falls asleep, or if I`m wearing her she`ll drift off `on her own` (while in whatever carrier she`s in). Bedtime - sometime she falls asleep on my lap, but usually she`s awake until we go to bed (10 or 11), she`ll breastfeed for maybe 5 minutes and then be out. She generally stays asleep until about 5 or 6, wakes up and eats, then is out again until 9 or so. I often get her up to pee at least once overnight, but she doesn't fully wake up for that. Austin::and::Alexs::Momma (925 days ago) Alex will be 9 months on the 20th. Usually for nap time, I let him go until he shows signs of tiredness and then I take him upstairs and lay him in his crib. He sometimes just falls right to sleep, other time I let him cry a little then he falls asleep, but if he fusses for more then 5 mins, I go up and comfort him until he falls asleep. At bed time, he usually has a bath, bottle, then bed. And if he`s extra fussy Daddy usually rubs his back until he drifts off... EditDelete
yorkc39 (925 days ago) I lay her down with a pacifier, it`s her comfort item otherwise she won`t sleep, then put a blanket over her, although that usually comes off as she rolls around. Make sure u`r LO is full, warm, and has a comfort item, I know they say you shouldn`t have things in their crib due to SIDS, but after a few months, they should be ok, I have several things like blankets and stuffed animals in her crib to keep her company EditDelete
linzigenavieve (925 days ago) My little girl does great with naps. I just lay her down and she falls asleep right away. Bedtime is another story. She wakes up pretty often at night. My other two never had a problem with naps or bedtime at this age, but every baby is different. Good luck with yours. EditDelete
courtenay (925.1 days ago) i lay down with her for a few minutes at naptime. naptimes usually correspond with a feeding around here so she usually nurses and then falls asleep. bedtime is still pretty much the same, if she doesnt fall asleep while nursing then i rock her a bit before i put her down. bedtime has become quite a fight for us in the last few weeks. she still wakes up to eat in the middle of the night too. pc (925.1 days ago) At nap and bedtime mine still falls asleep while I`m feeding him his milk bottle. Nightime is a nightmare for me. I nurse him only at nighttime, but I have since became his pacifier. As soon as I withdrawl my breast he wakes up searching for it. So as for night timefeeding, my LO is up all night. I need to start giving him bottles at night and stop being so lazy...it`s my fault! EditDelete
armymom (925.1 days ago) My son does not object when it comes to naptime. I just lay him down and he hangs out and plays for a little bit and then falls asleep when he gets bored. Our bedtime routine is bath at 8:30pm, lotion, 6oz bottle, brush teeth, and lay him down with his fish aquarium and he falls asleep within 10 minutes. Sleeps from 9pm-8am, Nap 10:30am-1pm and another nap from 3:30pm-5pm. EditDelete
