Kaylee turned 8 months old on the 3rd. She has been crawling and cruising for a while now. She has been letting go and balancing for a few seconds for about a week. Maybe she`ll be walking next month? Idk.

my son did it almost immediately, he was walking well at 10 months. my daughter however would pull herself up and cruise since she was barely 5 months old so i assumed she would be an early walker...i was not as right on that one. she would let go and stand alone, even take a step or two from about 10 mos. but she didnt walk well until about 3 days before her birthday! so i think it depends a lot on your child`s personality, if she is more independent it may not take her as long but if she tends to be cautious about things then it may take a little longer

ok thanks, she does walk holding onto hands for support already she just doesnt have enough balance yet. i was more wondering about the standing unassisted than the walking but thanks.

im just wondering if they usually learn standing/walking as fast as they learn sitting or crawling? when my daughter started sitting for a few seconds unsupported it only took a few days before she could sit for awhile before falling over. crawling only took about a week from the time she got up rocking on her knees to when she actually started crawling. Thanks in advance.
