Thanks everyone makes me feel a little better, I knew they stop saying some words but the fact she cut back to just three worried me a bit. She understands everything I say and follows directions very well but just I can`t understand her makes it a bit hard LOL.

It`s normal. My little girl is 2 1/2 and will still go into the gibberish stuff but her vocabulary and speech are growing more and more.

My LO has got a wide vocabulary already just turned 13mnths but does gabble a lot lately. Her Health Visitor said its completely normal and a good sign that she is thinking and getting stuck into other development areas rather than just communication. So ur LO might just be playing soo hard its easier to come out with gooble gabble to get it out quicker lol xx

Sarah up until about two months ago (she`s two and a half) knew a lot of words, but used gibberish in her sentences. It would crack us up all the time, she would say something like abbabllahblahdoandada daddy? abbabllahblahdoandada banana? She`s doing a lot better now though at stringing words together, so don`t worry, it will come :)

Yup very normal :) Hunters therapist said the jibberish is a good sign of language to come and it is common for words to come and go for now at 14 months.
