both of my kids have been under a blanket since birth and in their own rooms by 2 months when they are like 6 months and under just swaddle them when you put to bed and cover them up!

My LO has had a blanket since we brought her home. In her own crib and room at 2 mo. Now she LOVES having a blanket on her and she`ll snuggle it to her nose and rub it all over her nose and eyes then before she falls asleep we take it off before she nods off for the night.

i have tried putting my daughter under a blanket since she started wiggling out of a swaddle and she HATES it. she always kicks the covers off so now i just put her in footy pjs atleast that she can`t kick off. lol

I had my kids in the crib at birth, I moved them out of our room before 2 months and pretty much everything else was when they chose or was capable to.

HAHA `armymom` - ditto. None of your choices even come close to when I had my children doing these things. Birth is the only appropritae answer for me.

from birth.. he slept in his crib, own room, with a blanket, and on his tummy ***GASP***

I`ve always used a blanket of some sort until he was about 6 or 7 months. He wouldn`t keep anything on! So when it`s cold, I put him in long sleeves and pants and when it`s hot, he`s just in a onezie.

My DD has always used a blanket, she`s 6months now. I would swaddle her when she was smaller but she would always work her way out of it, so I had to just put a blanket on her :) And she's always been in her own room.

My LO was put in her own room when she was about 3 months old and she had a crochet blanket on her. She`s now almost 8 months and kicks the blanket off all the time. So we put her in long sleepers because we tend to keep the house chilly and I don`t want her waking because she`s cold.
