jessieg7 (917.8 days ago) i love unique names i think thats for the same reason as kim, my names jess (jessica) and though school i remember literally having another 4 jess`s in my class.. it was so annoying.
if my son was going to be a girl his name would have been bailey but spelt bailee becuase my middle name is lee and i wanted some of my name in her.. and the reason why i wanted bailee for a girl is because it was unusual to here of a girl being called that but over the lastr year iv hurd it so much for girls... and i was some thing even more unique so i like aliyah! i cant find to many ways to spell it spose its just easier to spell it like that
CarolinaBaby1 (918.4 days ago) I have a um, youneek name. Its Tee`an, pronounced Tion or Teyon. I love my name, but my mom messed me up with that spelling. People usually say Tee-Ann which I hate. And a lot of people who knew how to say my name for years or months, then see how its spelled, will for some reason change the pronunciation to Tee-Ann. Why? Then they`ll say, `well its spelled this way`. Yeah, I have to argue with some knuckle heads about how to pronounce my own name. Thanks ma! But hey, u name your kid what u want to name it. I`ve seen some crazy ones. I wouldn`t do it to my child
avaann (918.9 days ago) re: the `la-a` name LOL which is hilarious! i heard something similar but it was a ka-a. really i think some single woman will eventually say `my daughter`s name is *` and someone will prnounce it star and the poor girls name will really be `asterisk`.
harimaudahan (918.9 days ago) I like some unique names, but more for the classics. Originally I was going to name Sarah Gaelen, but my family just couldn`t get used to it and I backed out. I don`t regret my decision. This time around I`m going to name my son a traditional name as well. I`m more lenient with unique names for girls than boys for some reason.
sheework (918.9 days ago) I am just spelling it how people are doing names these days. People change a few letters and think it`s a name what`s wrong with original spellings? I just don`t get it.
mimi2b2aboy (919 days ago) i play this game with a group of women called bunko and there is 4 kims in this group. I`m known as the brown/black kim. HAHAHAHA
mimi2b2aboy (919 days ago) true but still part of your name. i would rather have to correct someone on my name then have someone call out `KIM` and have 10 girls look around. lol ( this happened in school ALOT)
sheework (919 days ago) I think last names are different you aren`t putting down your last name to be called in line while you wait, you don`t give your last name when you call a friend. Their first name is what people use most when addressing a person. I hated having to correct people with my name and although it`s not common I don`t think it`s hard to read or pronounce yet I still have to correct people and it get annoying.
pooka (919 days ago) its ones with crazy spellings like: Kriesteenia, Zoeeigh, Aydyn, Taylyr, Zhouyee, etc that really make me giggle.
mimi2b2aboy (919 days ago) my daughters name is unique. i wanted her to have a unique name. my name is kim and everyone and there aunts have this name. my daughters name is keianna. people either dont know how to pronounce it or even how to spell it. even her grandma spelt it wrong on my baby shower cake. lol to all their own. it`s just like last names. so if someone can`t pronounce someones last name that person should change their last name? : ) my last name is hard to pronounce and spell if you have never seen it.
