A comedian once joked that people find relatioships with people who are equal in looks to them..because it is the best they can do! I think he said `Im the best you can do, and youre the best I can do and we figured it out at the same time!` well anyways..I think it`s true. I mean i`m not superficial but I think usually good looking people are together and vice versa. Looks do matter somewhat to me..Isn`t that what attracts you to somebody in the first place. Their appearance cathes your eye...THEN you wanna get to know their personality! I think many people lie when they say looks don`t matter.

it only matters as its personal preference.i mean just bc you arent attracted physically to lets say a person out side your race for example, wouldnt make you a racist right? personally im attracted to the geeky boys. i dont like muscles, i dont like overly manyly men. its just my preference. so to me that is what i find attractive. looks fade anyway, so its not the main focus in any relationship. id be with a heavyset person or a thin person bc that can change too with time. but if i knew someone and they were my friend, and that grew into something more, it wouldnt make a bit of difference to me what they looked like, bc when you love somone you no longer see you feel attraction. =)

they do matter to an extent. thats why people are attracted in the first place i think. then you get to know their personality and what not, but first impressions are key. so ya, plus if my husband gained like 80 lbs. i would tell him to lose some weight because i didnt find him attractive and im the one who has to sleep with him. you know. its only fair but i do think that you can take that to an extreme and only focus on the looks thats not cool either.

I have had boyfriends that started as friends because i was not attracted to them but over time when you see a beautiful person on the inside suddenly they dont look so bad.

i ALWAYS said looks dont matter..until 3 weeks ago when i joined a dating site. i guess on there, his picture is what u see first, before you get to know the person.
