A lot of salon`s have organic products for perming hair that are safe to use while pregnant. You may want to check into that. Good luck.

i agree with amber the only caution there is - is that your hair wont take to it. color, perm. i`ve heard of dying it blonde and it coming out red.

I had a perm while pregnant...and had highlights 3x ( once every 3 months since the hair grows SOOOO FAST) I have to say the perm was the best I ever had :) Be careful they say sometimes the pregnancy hormones can cause it to not take. BUT GO FOR IT..IT IS FINE.

you can get anything done to yuor hair at anytime. MANY docs have confirmed this. if those `chemicals` were abosorbed into the scalp and THAT harmful...then do you think that perming or coloring hair would even be permitted? craziness.
