saline drops and a humidifier works wonders

raise their crib mattress by about 6 inches with a rolled towel slid under it like from the end. Use a nasal aspirator with saline helps a lot. You can buy saline spray in any drug store its just salt water. They no longer recommend cold medications for children under 6 in Canada no sure about the US, but studies show they really don`t do much good and carry risks. Saline always worked just as good for me to clear their noses up.

you might want to try letting him sleep in the swing...that always helped my daughter...when they lay flat they get pretty congested

all my doc told me to do was make sure and keep sucking his nose out. she also said to give him plenty of crackers and breads that might soak up any the mucus...gross lol. tylenol was another thing. i hate that they wont give me any cold meds for him.
