nutnut (913.5 days ago) its not supposed to be until a year old, but a couple months shouldnt make a difference if youre still giving formula, but you just want to add a bit of milk into the cereal. i gave may daughter milk a little early but not super early. it wasnt more than a month or two from what i can remember (shes 7 so it was a long time ago) i mean i gave her mac n cheese and i made it with milk not formula.
canadababy (913.6 days ago) Like courtenay said, it`s recommended between 9months-1yr. The only problem is that she may not tolerate it yet...you can try and if it doesn`t work (she has a reaction) just try again in a few weeks :)
courtenay (913.6 days ago) yeah its fine, in canada the recommendation is actually between 9 and 12 months for starting whole milk, just that one year is widely known about. anyways i have been giving my daughter whole milk for awhile now, just a bit a day but she is fine with it. i would start slow with it, esspecially if you think there may be allergies to dairy or whatever.
SarahLJ (913.7 days ago) My health visitor said we can start using whole milk when cooking from 6 months old. Think it depends on your doctor.
bluejeans (913.7 days ago) Thanks kadesmomma I will leave it until I go see the docter.
